yoz...been a while since i last blogged...hate having to say this...but...well...bloggin can be kinda boring sometimes...moving on to another stage of my life....;) everything seems rather sureal still...hehe....my company slogan "Life is Great"....actually when one actually stop and consider...life really can be great...its a matter of how you live ur life to the fullest...=)

currently happy with wat i have...no more grumbling....life has been good enuf to me and my loved ones...im still late for wrk..and meeting up with him...i knw i knw...got to change that...take it one step at a time...this year is gonna be a "spendrift" year for me...gotta be spending quite a substantial amt...i really really wonder how people save up money...especially those that always travel...-_-|||

mayb i shld blog alittle on how i spent my christmas and new year...hee hee...

Christmas:
Christmas Eve
- worked until 1pm...half day for everyone...exchange of gifts with colleagues...its a chocolatey day! kinda liked the culture there...soooo funnnn...i love gifts exchange...
- went gai gai with my boi....had lunch @ ichiban-boshi, window shopped abit at Great World...i just love Great World...coz u got to escape from the Orchard/City crowds...i think i bought a G2k skirt at 26 bucks...super cheap....
- went church ard 7plus coz got Praise & Worship, then attended the 8pm mass...
- ate the traditional christmas eve dinner @ grandma's place....stayed there until lik 1am...

Christmas Day!!!
- My Boi's  Bday....went shopping @ orchard....i think..cant really recall...ha ha...
- Had bday cake at my house...took pics...feel so FAMILY...haaa

New Year:
New Year Eve
- worked until 1 pm...half day again for everyone...went to my boi place...slack awhile...changed out of office attire into tees and shorts...watch tv...went for dinner with boi's parents (my fav zi char so far....yum yum)
- watched nice programme "Little Nyonya" and my fav korean drama "Yi Zi Mei"
- 11.20pm started walking from Boi's place to Shenton way....walked to the NTUC Income building grass patch...sat at the pavement near there with Boi to catch Marina's fireworks...pretty fantastic...took a vid of it...

New Year Day!!!
- A.K.A mom's bday.....
- went dinner with mom @ Farmart...also ate zi char, stingray, satay etc...not bad...i lik the stingray...haha...its a beri family gathering...sis' boi joined us these time round...so there were lik 7 of us...cool...our "family" have expanded...hee hee

feeling tired...shall blog more the next time...tataz for now....<3

It's just another day...

I am seriously bored....even typing seems boring to me...I need to revamp my wardrobe, my looks  and my blog...I envy other people's blog, guess its a matter of time to make mine look more perky..coz it looks damn boring to me..I wonder if everyone in Singapore feels this way...oh well, we are just a small peanut compared to other countries...where can we go man on weekends? everywhere looks the same, everywhere has the same shops...same brands...same crazy throngs of people....and cars...making everywhere seems inaccessible...I think I need some time to be myself...to do things I like, to let things revolve around me and not the other way round...sigh...I feel that I have so many committments in my life that its overwhelming me...but I am ironic...I don't like to be alone, I enjoy companies...I like the feeling of being accompanied when I do things I like...I am weird...ha!

Here I am studying for my course....I dread exams, I dread studying, but I have to do this, if not I won't have anything to grasp on to for my future...its complicating...How can I perk myself up? Shall I take a half day leave and just go and do whatever I like and pamper myself? Go for manicure or pedicure? Or shopping? my fav? or just lie on the beach and watch the sun set? Or go travelling irregardless of the cost? spend my money whenever I like? hmmm...no idea wat I am looking for...so many things I want and so many seems out of reach...God oh god why is life so hard? why do we have to slog so hard to be able to get things we want? can I be blessed with determination and strength to face whatever is ahead of me in my life to come?

Let's see, I should plan one day to be "Gertrude's day" where I dress up pretty, go have my favourite tea and cakes treat, pamper myself with a nice mani or pedi, shop for something I like...hehe...sounds heavenly to me...okay shall bring my dear sister to accompany me =) hehe...

Heyo...been 1 month since my cousin's wedding...too lazy to upload pics from the wedding...haha...here's some quick snapshots...

The morning was interesting...the sisters squad (comprising of 6 of us - 3 of my cousin gal friends & her sister and me and my sister)...well its my 2nd time in a sisters squad...but I preferred this one coz its heart-warming to see my cousin and her bf finally tie the knot after 11 long years of courtship...isnt it amazing to be able to last that long? I have heard of cases where people break up after 5 or 8 years of courtship...=)

The funniest thing that happened during the wedding was, at the church after the ceremony and all, when my cousin threw the Bouquet...NOBODY was there to catch it..everyone's afraid of catching the bouquet for fear of being the NEXT to get married...hahaha...so the two flower girl(aged 6 and 7) were the closest to the Bride...Ultimately after the third unsuccessful throw, I portrayed "sportsmanship" by catching it....knowing that the Elders there will definitely "suan" me...anyways...it was a great day...

After the church ceremony, we were supposed to go to the Newly weds new "nest". Another kuku thing happened...haha...my cousin-in-law a.k.a the groom...forgot to bring the house keys!..haha...ended up his guy friend have to drive back to his place to help him get it...so the sisters and the brothers squads were all waiting there in our "white dress" and "suits"...the lucky thing was its drizzling so not that hot..=) interesting...

That day (2 weeks after my cousin came back from her Honeymoon...FYI they went to South Africa.. how exotic can it be??), we were at my aunties' place, she told us that after they came back from their Honeymoon and return to their "nest", they realise that the aircon was still on in one of the rooms and the lights in another room was also on...lolx...pretty hilarious sight , to think that we have forgotten to turn it off when we left the Couple's Love nest...hehehe...

okies dokies...i was supposed to be studying...oh wells...better go sleep now...gtg wrk tml...anyway nth much happening for me, slogging at wrk as per norm and not exercising! *whine* no time for myself anymore....boo hoo...except last weekend went In-door rock climbing at Yishun Safra...not bad...itching to go back again...*rubs her hands together with glee*...Nites nites =) tataz , will update the next entry with the pics from the rock climbing...

Hi Hi!!!

well well....work has been great for me, tomorrow i'll be taking half-day for jiajun's convo...time flies...really...especially in my current job...i just love the things i do....hehe

i just keep getting addicted whenever i on my laptop to surf...i should control myself and not surf too much....need my precious sleep...work is tiring but satisfying...but home...too noisy, cant wait for those thai kids to go home...shoo...shoo...let me have my privacy....especially when a mad woman keep raving away on things....get a life stoopid!

yeah...im going hk soon...hk here i come!!!hee hee...

yesterday splurged on two skirts from SENSE, spent like 90 bucks...but its all worth it...i just have limited supplies of office wear...everytime wear the same tops and bottoms...so boring....*yawnz* i really need to invest in some decent work shoes...too many casual shoes...birkies...sandals....i wanna get those pwetty heels that you keep seeing people wear in city....

diet is another thing i need to control...recently been drinking too much tea and coffee...i have to cut down now...else will get caffeine overdoze or smth....

missed ikea's swedish meat balls...hope i'll get to eat over the weekend...oh and saturday's UOL alumni dinner...will be going with Rach....its somewhere in the city...forgot which hotel already...haha...
